Backstory: Accomplished astronaut who went through NASA training alongside Diana Prince. Stacy Macklin was a friend and ally to Wonder Woman who aided her in battling the forces of Ares, and even became the champion of Athena for a brief time.

Things would change for Stacy however after a routine job of escorting a space shuttle which had been bathed in mysterious energies from a comet which had broken off from the moon from NASA warehouse in Houston, to STAR labs in Metropolis. For when the shuttle was struck by the light of a full moon, it caused Stacy Macklin to be possessed by a strange and mysterious force.

Declaring herself to be ‘Lady Lunar’, she had the memories of an ancient people who worshipped the moon as a sacred barren treasure which was divine by nature.

Armed with the awareness that humanity has set foot upon the moon, the entity known as Lady Lunar declared this to be the greatest sacrilege, and that humanity must DIE! Thus Lady Lunar would bend all of her effort towards attempting to exterminate humanity and make Earth ‘as barren and pox marked as the beautiful sacred moon!’

However this transformation was moon based in nature and the moment the sun would rise, Lady Lunar would vanish along with her powers, leaving behind Stacy Macklin with no memory or awareness of what she had been doing the moment the sun fell and the moon shown overhead.
