Why was Darkseid so afraid of Brainiac? So afraid that he couldn’t even face him, even when Brainy was severely weakened, he sent Supes after him instead of facing himself.
Darkseid was obviously afraid and intimidated, that much us obvioud BUT why?

I can see Darkseid being disturbed by Brainiac ability to take/shrink/blow up a planet, including Apokolips.
But, that of course he’d convince Superman to go fight him instead. Why risk his own life, if he can risk Superman’s instead.

He misunderstood his name as “Brainy Yak,” and as seen in New Gods vol. 2 #6, he endured a deeply traumatic experience at a petting zoo in his 30s when a baby yak nibbled on his skirt.

Well…he figured anyone who could tolerate Pinky’s hilariously charming stupidity for over 25 years is someone not to be trifled with.
I see that as well, just thought when Brainy got damaged, he would have wanted to kill it himself. I was wrong lol
