I have no good excuse as to why I had never seen Rising until The Dark Knight last night. I had seen Batman Begins and Dark Knight and loved them, I just never saw Rising-and those are years I could have spent enjoying a movie that consistently blew me away-especially the ending. DC missed an opportunity to continue the Batman franchise with a new Dark Knight protecting Gotham and I hate that they didn’t move on from Rising–but again, I can’t express how much I loved this movie.
