Back in 1983, DC Comics introduced us to the crown prince of Markovia, Brion Markov aka Geo-Force.

Brion has a long storied history here at DC - from teaming with the original Outsiders to save Markovia to helping Batman take on Kobra in the Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode ‘Requiem for a Scarlet Speedster’ and will continue to be a mainstay for DC fans everywhere.

I first encountered Geo-Force in a book about the history of comics that I checked out from the library when I was a kid.

There was a cover of Outsiders that he was prominently featured on. I was intrigued by a character that had multiple letters on his chest for an emblem for some reason. His yellow and green outfit was a cool look too.

During the original run of Batman and the Outsiders. One of my all time favorite covers is Geo Force and Superman fighting reflected in a Christmas Tree ornament. Check it out right here on DCU.
