I don’t have the issues any more and I’m not sure of the titles, but there were two really intriguing Batman Elseworlds. One took place during the French Revolution and combined Tale of Two Cities and The Scarlet Pimpernel; and another in an alternate history where Cromwell never fell and the U.S. was a Puritan empire - may have been called “Holy Terror.” Those would make awesome animes.

Superman- Speeding Bullets I think would be interesting. If only to see Lex Luther become The Joker.
Back in 1994 they did some really great elseworld annuals like Pirate Batman, Superman /tarzan mashup etc… those would be interesting to see translated.
Batman bloodstorm when he goes up against Dracula. But what would be really awesome is if they could make some of the amalgam comics into movies because I would love to see Dark Claw.
