It was never popular

It mixes Earth 2, Gail Simone BOP and changes Canary to teenager with different powers. Uses Alfred, Mom Black Canary and different Harley Quinn

It took a long time to get DVD because of music rights.

It is an alternate universe

Which might cause confusion for

Black Canary HBO Max mini series

Batgirl movie

Titans

Any use of Huntress elsewhere

Any news on the “Green Hornet” tv series?

WOW that is one hell of a list of additions. Is anything DC leaving? Because if not then that is going to be one hell of a library. I mean, I don’t see it happening (hope I am wrong) but if they would add the rest of the live action and animated archival series that were on DC Universe before on top of this and what is already on there. They would come damn close to actually having the “all things DC” movies and TV selection many wished DC Universe had been.

Although is Supergirl for real? Was under the impression like the other CW shows it would remain exclusive to Netflix for at least a couple more years like Arrow has and Black Lightning seems to be. Anyone by some chance know?

Except for
Two part
Green Hornet Batman TV crossover (not owned by DC)
Has never been a DC property
Or been anyway popular

Hornet belongs to Dynamite not DC

So I don’t see HBO Max interested in it

The film was an oddity, more a comedy, not close to the original character at all and probably cheap for HBO Max to rent for a little while

Green Hornet is a descendant of the Lone Ranger, which was never a property of DC either

Versions of these two characters appear in Planetary in our library, under other names.

Yeah, I wasn’t thrilled with the movie, did the writer have a brain fart?

While it’s true that the Green Hornet is not, strictly speaking, a DC character, The 12 issue series “Batman '66 Meets the Green Hornet” on DCUI is a fun read.

I think I read that another GH movie is in the works, which seems unnecessary. But how about having GH and Kato as guest anti-heroes on Batwoman? That would be fun!
