Yeah, but I mean like one of the animated ones on here. Actually story itself being adapted for a film.
Remember Batman v Superman? In that movie, it was merely loosly based on “The Dark Knight Returns”.
I mean we need one like the animated " Dark Knight Returns". Where the story is laid out panel to panel.

I honestly don’t know why you’d want that. The film would have to be prohibitively expensive to do any justice to Tim Sale’s art. The core of the story has already been adapted by The Dark Knight. And Paramount might sue over all of the Godfather plagiarism in the script.

It sounds like The Batman is going to be “inspired” by Long Halloween. I agree with @TravisMorgan. 12 episodes @ 30 minutes a pop. Maybe even 13 episodes.
