My brother and I (I’m the Ravenclaw and he’s the Slytherin) met up with the 501st legion at Granite State Comic Con:
The kid ran in when we were taking a picture and I’m glad he did.
My first comic con. So much fun. Must go to more!

No surprise our forum dwellers are all Ravenclaw! 
I went to a talk from some of the 501st and was so impressed with the dedication and work it takes to make those costumes, and the fact that they were also very supportive of anyone who makes any kind of costume at all. It is nice to find others who share a passion and they look like a solid group to hang out with.

That’s because I have no fear in doing that.
Truth be told, I’ve really only ever likened myself to Gryffindor because its Harry’s deal.
He’s a brunette and wears glasses, as am/do I, so it seemed like a good fit.

I ran into a few women cosplaying as Barbie at a con I went to about a month ago. Everyone who passed them said “Hi Barbie!” and they would wave back and say “Hi Barbie!” 
It was so sweet.

That was my experience. Barbie (and Ken) is a very easy character to play into the role at cons, even if you have social anxiety and don’t really know how to talk to people. I remember being Wednesday at a con and people coming up to me expecting me to be very in character, but at cons it’s hard to be negative, especially towards people who are in shock from seeing their favorite characters in the flesh. Barbie and Ken are nice, positive characters to play into.

That’d be so hard. I can’t keep a straight face, and I get excited seeing other people excited (am I just like a dog? )
If I ever dress up as Wednesday for whatever reason, I’m gonna accidentally break character the second someone points to me. I’ll just be like “Omg hiiiii! 
” the entire time LOL.
