Seeing the list of books coming to DCUI Ultra in December has completely changed the way I go about reading comics. I used to get books I really wanted to read from the local comic shop because six months was too long to wait to read them without having them spoiled but now that it’s four weeks? I can wait to save that money for something else.
I am very much looking forward to Justice Society of America #1 but I’ll wait to read it here on December 27th as part of my #DCemberToRemember (more on that here) rather than head out to the store to pick up a copy today. I hate to do this to my LCS but the reality of the situation is that getting all of these books for $1.92 a week beats the heck out of paying $3.99 or more for just one issue.
