Markhb, even then the character properties alone bring in a bunch of money. They’d just do like Marvel did and sell rights to other production companies. But I truly doubt that’ll happen. DC isn’t really doing that bad. Their films have been hit or miss. Their animated films have been doing okay. And their TV shows have been stead ratings holders for their CW network.
Personally, I think WB should take a page from Disney, and let DC Studios operate separately from WB as a studio of their own. WB seems to be their own worst enemy when it comes to their DC films.
