Looking to get my son some action figures for his birthday but I can’t find the most durable and movable brand to get. I am looking for the 6 inch figure and was looking at the Greg Capullo line of figures but all reviews were from collectors that wanna pose them. My kid is for sure going to be playing with them and I don’t wanna spend $20 plus on something that he will pop a arm or leg off easily.
Any advice is appreciated.

the Multiverse line by Mattel is sturdy and poseable, and around $20, but you can find some on clearance. there are the movies’ “basic” lines and batman missions line that are aimed at kids; less poseable but generally a lot cheaper and probably more durable. examples:

For kids, I would look at:
- Mattel Batman Missions
- Mattel Tru Moves (12" figures)
- Fisher Price Imaginext (4" figures with playsets)
- Mattel’s basic movie lines (any Mattel DC movie figures without “Multiverse” on the box).
- Mattel Multiverse. These are a bit more expensive since they are more aimed at collectors and have better articulation. However, you there is a huge selection of characters to chose from. I can vouch for their durability. The few I’ve given my kids have stood up to rough play.
