Mine would have to be the closing lines of “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?”: “Dreams save us. Dreams lift us up and transform us. And on my soul, until MY dream of a world where dignity, honor, and justice are the reality we all share, I’ll never stop fighting. Ever.”
It really encapsulates what he stands for, and why violence doesn’t make things better. Things can only improve if we work towards good in the world, rather than use the same ugly things it throws at us to get what we want.
