at the tail end of the first and only swamp thing green hell it was stated that the next book would come February 2022

It’s definitely been pretty heavily delayed, which unfortunately happens to plenty of books at this point. The strange thing is that I can’t find any definitive info on when it’s currently set to release, so it might not have a new date yet. I’m wondering if maybe there are some creative issues going on behind the scenes that are causing this big a delay, but at this point it seems like all we can do is speculate

Jeff Lemire talked about it in his most recent newsletter. Apparently artist Doug Mankhe had family problems that caused the delay. They’re re-releasing the first issue in January, and the other two issues will come out in February and May.
