Why did they mess up the flash so bad in the Justice League movie

Because Zack Snyder was given free reign and he’s not a fan of the source material.

Yeah not that great the only way I cld look past it was telling myself that he was just starting off. He only just got the job in the crime lab at the end.
Yeah what does dc have against classic BarryAllen? The movie flash was really a version of Bart(Impulse) Allen and the tv Flash is really Wally West being called Barry Allen. Comics are a visual medium and the movie/tv versions should look like they stepped out of the comic.
