What DC Comics Digitized This Week

Note: I replied to a much older post, as I’m using it for reference.
Click on it to see the original announcement for…

Super Friends #2.
It was digitized and put on Comixology.
It’s been ten months and it hasn’t been added to DCUI.

Archived web page for Comixology’s New Releases for March 19, 2020

Looking over Arion the Immortal #6 in the thread, I saw where it was mentioned about it not being digitized and the wait for the last issue, and then the announcement of it being released.
But I don’t recall if it was a similar case as that of Super Friends #2 or Catwoman #24, where the books were digitized and put on Comixology but not on DCUI.

Super Friends 2 was put on dcu but then removed because the scan was missing half the issue.

Thanks, @Mammomax for clarifying.
I’m assuming that the one they’ve been selling on Comixology for the last ten months is complete?

That I do not know

Would have to purchase it to confirm 100% that it is complete, but it does say 19 pages so I think that’s pretty good confirmation

I’m sure y’all are sick of hearing this, but I really need some golden age Flash in my life right about now. That and golden age Adventure Comics. Starman and Sandman are sorely missing from my digital pull list!

It never gets easier to understand what ISN’T here!

I can’t read (or even BUY on Comixology) any Golden Age or classic Silver Age issue of Superboy. WHAT?

I’d love Starman, Sandman, Golden Age Flash, Golden Age Green Lantern, or Superboy.

Hey!

Welcome to the community

We have a bunch of requests in for Golden Age comics, but I’ve gone ahead and added yours to our list for you. Thanks for the requests!

There were also only five archive comics released on Comixology this week, so we can’t tell yet if Catwoman’s omission last week was a fluke or by design.

when were those batman and super friends comics requested lol

I think Super Friends has been a request to Comixology since before DCUniverse existed, to get more kid-friendly comics in digital.
I actually think I might have asked for them at least once.

Unfortunately, missing #2 means I won’t be reading them anytime soon.

Check if your local library has Hoopla Digital as part of their services. My library does, so I was able to borrow Super Friends: Saturday Morning Cartoons Vol 1 digital TPB for free, which includes Super Friends #2

We do have Hoopla and I use it to read comics sometimes.
I never thought to look for Super Friends on there. I just hate having to use two sources for one series.
But, if that’s what I have to do, right?

Yep… it’s a shame. Hoopla recently added Super Friends TPB vol 2 so at least you could read the whole series through one source

I’d have enjoyed reading that. Too bad they canceled it. We’ll now probably never see it happen as it’s considered a failed venture now.
