I would say Batman Year One is too sexual for 12–15-year-olds, but those do look quite interesting.

Batman Adventures: Robin the Boy Wonder, is a favorite of mine. I think it’d be good for younger readers too.

if I were going to give out comics for halloween I give scooby doo batman comics because someone as young as five could enjoy them

I would honestly think to recommend anything that involves teenage protagonists for them to relate to. I read a lot of those when I was that age.
