Iā€™m hyped for his Batman role. I think he will do great. Not that excited for his Bruce Wayne role I will be honest lol.

Iā€™m gonna give Pattinson a chance. Not a fan of Twilight but he did work on other movies so shrugs why not?

I think he will be great. Great actor but everyone only remembers twilight. Remember how everyone hated the pretty boy Heath Ledger as the Jokerā€¦until the movie came out. I think he can do a good job, if its a good script.

Iā€™m ok with the choice. I think he will do good. Yes, there are a lot of naysayers, but I am willing to give him a chance. I just hope Matt Reeves makes something different, and moves away from the whole Frank Miller-angle. As much as I like Year One and DKR, I think itā€™s time for something less broody, maybe go along the lines of Denny Oā€™Neil or Alan Grant. I wouldnā€™t mind a Jim Amparo/Neal Adams inspired costume as well!

He is not my ā€œNew Batmanā€. I think it is a lame choice i have seen him in other movies not saying he can not act. He just is not Bruce Wayne or Batman material, but who knows what it will turn out to be. If its like any of the other movies besides wonder woman or shazam it will probably be a crappy action movie with good special effects.

Iā€™m actually pretty excited to see what he being to the role. Heā€™s got great range, and Iā€™m curious to see how he handles the duality of Bruce/Batman! I think it will be very interesting indeed.

I have yet to see a movie with him in it where heā€™s good. Shazam was a horrible actor choice. I questioned Momoa as Aquaman, but was happy he made it work. I hope Robert does better than Affleck Batman or Levi Shazam. But I am a traditional old school fan. Fingers crossed

Heā€™s already played a brooding billionaire in Cosmopolis, so I imagine heā€™ll make a good Bruce Wayne.

Iā€™ve seen Pattinson in a couple things besides Twilight and heā€™s a really good actor. Heā€™s got the jawline and his roles can be diverse. One thing to always keep in mind is that when Ledger was cast as Joker, people were in an uproar about a ā€œgay cowboyā€ for that character because of Brokeback Mountain and Keaton was criticized as the guy from Mr Mom not being able to be a good Batman.
