“Who watches the Watchmen?” Well, (for at least a couple weeks, anyway) WE DO!

Hey everybody! To accompany our multi-club Alan Moore Roundtable discussion, we thought it’d be fun to watch the entire HBO TV Series in a set of daily WALS and we’d love some company—that’s where you come in! :raised_hands: Join us!

Details below for anyone who hasn’t seen it, or if you’re new to watch-alongs…

Watchmen (2019): Set in an alternate history, where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws, and 34 years after the original story, Detective Angela Abar (aka: Sister Night) investigates the reemergence of a white-supremacist terrorist group, inspired by the long-deceased moral absolutist, Rorschach. Based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.

Cool, I’d been wanting to watch this but hadn’t got around to it.

I don’t want to inflate your expectations, but it’s second to Krypton as the best live-action DC TV show of the last couple years.

That it’s second to Krypton, sure.

More Moore. It’s weird, it’s almost as if someone is manipulating our reality from afar.

Surely…you don’t mean the one, the only…Dan DiDio, do you?

I like him, but others don’t.

The Watchmen was intriguing with its overall mystery, untold history lessons and secrets in every characters closet. It is one of the smarter shows I’ve watched lately.

Sorry, what’s that? :sun_with_face:

Looking forward to the WAL. I’ll have a cold can of beans, Rorschach-style, nowhere near as I watch, because cold beans aren’t all that good.
