Dang Chloe… seriously
Well that was some serious foreshadowing!!!
I have a scheduling conflict this Saturday so I’m taking a poll to see if we can reschedule or if we should skip this Saturday and push the entire schedule ahead. Please vote below
What is you preference for rescheduling this Saturday's WAL?
- Keep the same day, move the time up TBD
- Keep the same time, move the day to Friday.
- Keep the same time, move the day to Sunday.
- Friday, but a different time TBD.
- Sunday, but a different time TBD.
- Skip this week and shift the schedule.
Once we figure out a day, we can vote on a time next
If I don’t hear back, or you don’t have a preference, I’ll default to rescheduling for Sunday 8PM EST.
Well folks, it looks like I’ll be going into the field for work so we also need to make a decision for what to do about June 17 and 24!
So in tandem with this Saturday’s poll, I’ve got another, less urgent one!
- Put the WAL on pause and push the schedule out.
- Find an alternative host and stay on schedule.
- Add a new day/time TBD to watch these and stay on schedule.
Got a better idea? Drop your thoughts below! We’ve got some time to plan for this one
I like the episode in a later season that’s a total Saw ripoff. That was the scary one!
Later seasons did lots of movie homages and I love them! The Hangover episode is my favorite!
Oh yeah. I watched this and I was thinking, did Clark really need to knock him out? He was just calming Chloe down… Not like he had to use his powers or anything. Poor guy.
The times Clark softly knocks people out always makes me smile. even the look on his face is like “ok bud take a nap, I’ve got work to do now.”
Ok, so far it’s looking like we take this week off and shift things up.
In my haste to throw the poll up, I didn’t realize there were advanced options I should have selected to see who voted. So just to be sure, @JusKris-El did you vote? Does skipping this Saturday and shifting things work for you?
Thanks for being so considerate @Bar-El . All you club leaders do so much for the community. You’re appreciated
Aw thanks @Cradle2theGabe!
I’m voting on everything, anything really work for me.
As a former club leader, I really appreciate that, I know this was mostly towards @Bar-El and it should. She really does amazing job. I wish I had her patience when it comes to watch along, anytime I’m hosting a watch along and nobody shows up, I easily quit, but @Bar-El, she’s a pro that keep going no matter what, she has hosted over 70 Smallville watch along and never give up on any episode when she’s by herself hosting.
Don’t expose my secret that these WALs and entire club is really just so I can justify my 1billionth rewatch of the series and indulge myself in Smallvill Fandom! I mean…it’s for the community…
I like re-watching Smallville this way. The way it usually goes is I blaze through the first 6 seasons but am very engaged. Then I’m a little exhausted through 7 and 8 so I start multitasking more and sort of tune out a little bit.
By the time I get to 9 and 10 I’m periodically leaving the room, making phone calls or just quitting an episode if it’s close to bedtime.
There’s this whole Checkmate plot I barely remember. Lana gets powers for some reason, less Martha and no Johnathan…I hate to say it, but Zod and Tess just really didn’t do much for me. Lois is what kept me coming back–I’m curious how I’ll feel this time with a slower pace.
That’s actually a really great description of the later seasons lol I too tossed my mental health to the curb and stayed up till 2 am watching as many episodes as possible before I lost my Hulu subscription. Then I bought box set and still couldn’t control myself watching one episode a week is how the show was intended to be enjoyed. Preferably with a break between seasons but let’s be real, ain’t nobody got time for that!
When it come to watching Smallville, I have to watch 4 or 8 episodes per day!
Yes, I voted and that is good for me to skip. Sorry I just saw this trying to figure out the decision. I as at Janet Jackson last weekend.
