Lana and Jason’s relationship reminds me of how I met my husband. Although, even with Lana demanding that they are both adults and it’s not a problem, I feel like they are acting like kids by putting Jason’s job on the line because they can’t keep their hands off each other while at school.
My husband and I met in college as Resident Assistants (RAs) at our dorm.
There were 3 faux pas of increasing severity;
3.Don’t date a resident of the building 
2. Don’t date a resident in your section
1.Don’t date another RA 
So we ended up on our Housing Directors red list. Since we wanted to stay employed, we did everything in our power to be as discrete and responsible as possible to not add any additional drama to the situation. We would give each other a ton of space during meetings (literally sitting as far away from each other as possible), avoided working together on shift whenever possible, and NEVER even so much as held hands while on campus let alone kissing or anything like that outside of our actual room. And I can honestly say it wasn’t even that difficult! If anything it got us outside more to seek refuge from students 
Now I know the situation in the show is to create drama and all that, but I just wanted to share that it is possible to deal with something similar and not get fired lol So if you find yourself in a similar situation at some point in your life, just keep it professional at work, and do whatever you want outside of work!

If TV sitcoms or dramas are any indication, you only meet your significant others at your place of work.
There’s simply no room in the plot for outsiders. The audience would never accept them. Oops getting too deep in my analogy.
