No he ends up in the Veritas group but always saw the hope in it. The rest of them wanted to have the power to themselves and went bad.

Smallville crew & Producers: Question, where do we go from here after the great episode of the season with Christopher Reeves guest star? How do we top that?
I’d say they really outdid themselves by doing a great job, now it’s time to move on to continue to make another good episode.
Visitor was really good, I did really enjoy this next episode.
