Final season of Arrow is incredibly good. I cried during the finale

I watched the first couple seasons, and then I watched whatever season Crisis was, but only until Crisis on Infinite Earths

You missed the last 2 episodes then. Episode 9 was setting up the Canaries, but you need to watch the finale

Well that answered my question from earlier.

Did Lionel ever have a significant role in the comics? I loved him on Smallville but I don’t recall him from anything else.

Well, this makes my Riddler Waze experience a bit less exciting.

As far as I know, no - he’s not really a player in the comics.

I see he made an appearance in the 60’s comics, but feels pretty deep cut.

In the DC Comics, Lex Luthor’s father was originally named Jules Luthor, but later was renamed Lionel Luthor some time after Smallville . He debuted in Superman’s Girlfriend, Lois Lane #23 (February 1961) and was created by Jerry Siegel and Kurt Schaffenberger.

That’s from Wikipedia

Yeah, so at this point he’s more of a TV character.
