Toy Talk: Which DC Character Would You Like To See Produced As An Action Figure?

Thor got beaned by a Starro! :astonished: There must be an interesting story behind that.

As usual, your custom work is beautiful. I particularly like Murmur.

Its pretty amazing DC Direct/Collectibles never did a line based on Johns’ Flash, as Murmur and many others would have been great fits for it.

In my little headcannon, my Starro was recruiting ‘soldiers’ and looked across the multiverse to find someone with power enough to give Superman pause. It remembered possessing the Avengers before (in the opening to JLA/Avengers) and knew firsthand how strong Thor is, so it kidnapped him and brought him to the DCU.

(Unless you meant interesting story in how it was made, in which case not really- I had a Thor and found the Starro accessory on eBay and thought it would be cool lol).

I agree. I’ve made Murmur, Abra Kadabra, and the Top so far. I made a Gorilla Grodd, but I’ll probably replace him with the page punchers Grodd they released recently.

The Flash has so many more Rogues they could make figures for though.

I figured JLA/Avengers played a role in the proceedings. :+1:t2:

Well, the creation of an item of importance is always interesting, so that works, too.

I would love to see Magenta and Cicada in plastic.

I made a Marvel Legends Magenta awhile back, but I was never super happy with her, so I’m gonna re-try her in the new year McFarlane style (I know how, I just have to get around to it …and I think she’ll look better).

Cicada would be awesome.

While on the subject of Johns’ Flash, I wouldn’t mind a Mega figure of Tarpit, along with a Collect to Build Girder.

C’mon McFarlane/DC Multiverse- I know you can do this! :+1:

All I want is a nice God Machine Brainiac from Convergence/Future’s End in oversized action figure form!

And let’s address the Pygmy elephant in the room……

(Keaton and Bale bats are NECA’s as I haven’t found the McFarlane version of Bale yet and Keaton won’t be out for a month or so!)
I DO have the NECA West Batman but I’m hoping Todd will give us a Gold Label full sized Multiverse version to stand alongside his counterparts

I’m kind of obsessed with Stitch from Teen Titans Academy. Not only are they hilarious, but Stitch apparently isn’t afraid to call out BS–to Nightwing! Probably wouldn’t hesitate even it was Batman.

Naturally a plushy doll would be quite apropos

McFarlane: Ladytron, and with an articulated jaw.

Super7: ReAction figures of the WildC.A.T.S as seen on their TV series.

Playmates’ WildC.A.T.S line was really more comic-based, so something that looks just like the animated renditions of the characters would be wild.

Yeah, they were hilarious. I also liked Dane, and I even liked that characterization of Billy far more than anything Cereal Lord has done with him since 2011 (I thought the writers on the Cyborg solo did a far better job on New 52 Billy than Johns), and I also liked the reformed version of Teth Adam and I was kinda disappointed and lost my interest in the BA mini since it doesn’t feature more adventures with that kid. I personally have no interest in a Stitch plushy, but I can see that it would be a cool thing to have. But that series overall was a mixed bag and I think readers were more disappointed than not.

I would second this but I would prefer the Losh Trio with a Superboy! You can literally make the Sphere and also make a Rip Hunter, and a Wellsobard Reverse Flash for it, as well as so many other DC characters, actually to sell as combo packs.

I know we had the Funko but did not know we had the 2010 Starro from the DC Heroic line, which I was never aware of and have never seen in the wild (and would have no interest in the McFarlane BAF), so my top pick that I am surprised has not been mentioned that I would like to see produced for retail sale and it’s another DC-is-leaving-money-on-the-table deals would be this, as a plushy:

That is a thing that does exist, IRL. They made them as presents for some of the crew, IIRL, or maybe it was some cast and crew, so like 40 or 50 exists in the wild. Every time I hit an LA thrift store, I always go and check out their stuffed animals once I read that a few years back, because you can always find crew jackets and other neat promo stuff from movies and TV shows, but I’m sure if someone got this and didn’t want it, they promptly put it on eBay.

Dude! I’ve been waiting for somebody to make a Beebo plush. My little sister doesn’t like Legends of Tomorrow, but she fell in love with him
