Think You Know The Black Lantern Corps? Get Featured in DC Universe Encyclopedia!

This week, we’re asking DC fans to submit their fun trivia facts about a group that is the slain and deceased beings from throughout the universe who fell into the domain of the dead. They are the army of Nekron, the Lord of the Unliving, and their purpose is to eliminate all life.

The Black Lantern Rings are wielded by the deceased. The symbol on Black Power Rings is the same symbol used by Green Lantern super-villain Black Hand (a triangle pointing downward, with five lines radiating upward from the base). The black rings also symbolize a total absence of emotion and life. Black Lantern Ring-possessed sentients are driven by a need to take the hearts of those who will be most emotionally affected by their return, to use the power of the emotions of those hearts to bring about the return of Nekron.

Of course, we can only be talking about the one and only Black Lantern Corps!

Let us know all your little-known intel in the comments below, and it could be selected for featuring in our new “Trivia” Encyclopedia section! Anyone whose Fun Facts are selected will receive a rare “Daily Planet Editor” badge!

Remember – All facts MUST be cited with their source to be considered for- it can be any source! Just be sure you cite it.
