Think You Know Doctor Mid-Nite? Get Featured in DC Universe Encyclopedia!

This week, we’re asking DC fans to submit their fun trivia facts about a character who has been represented by three different individuals, but all exhibited the same basic characteristics: a cowled costume featuring a crescent moon symbol, keen ability to see in the darkness at the cost of near or total blindness in sunlight, the use of special visors and “blackout” smoke bombs to gain a tactical advantage in combat, a high degree of skill in martial arts, and jobs as physicians serving both normal human beings and “metahuman” superheroes. Additionally, two of them have had an owl as a sidekick. This character is widely regarded as the first superhero in comics to exhibit a physical impairment, in this case, blindness. Of course, we can only be talking about the one and only Doctor Mid-Nite!

Let us know all your little-known intel in the comments below, and it could be selected for featuring in our new “Trivia” Encyclopedia section! Anyone whose Fun Facts are selected will receive a rare “Daily Planet Editor” badge!

Remember – All facts MUST be cited with their source to be considered for- it can be any source! Just be sure you cite it.
