To show how powerful and skilful Deathstroke is, he almost took out the whole of the Justice League in 1 issue, with nothing but his skill. https://arousinggrammar.com/2012/08/26/deathstroke-fights-the-entire-jla/amp/

Slade joined the army at age 16, lying about his age to get in. It’s in this book. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Deathstroke-Terminator-TP-Marv-Wolfman/dp/1401254284/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=deathstroke+marv+wolfman&qid=1570110860&s=gateway&sr=8-1#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div

Here’s a fun one from the man himself, co-creator Marv Wolfman (from when I met him at NC Comicon in Raleigh).

According to him, the character (as he was created) just came to him in his head. No outside influence, nothing serving as a basis. He literally came up with the concept for the character in a matter of minutes!

This will be fun, Deathstroke is my all time favorite DC character outside of Dr. Fate and the Spectre.

Deathstroke can anticipate all tactical strategies in an instant and pick out the best, most lethal attack.

Deathstroke has enhanced strength and can use almost 100 percent of his brain. (Why he is able to do the first note)

Slade’s wife shot out his eye during an altercation and the pain from his relationship is why it never really healed. (At least i think so)

The first time Slade and Batman fought he put Batman in the hospital.

Deathstroke once fought Wolverine.

Deathstroke had a sword called God Killer once, so he could kill a God.

Deathstroke was around 16 when he enlisted in the army. He lied about his age to get in.

Slade’s future wife, Adeline, fell in love with 16 year old Slade when she was 10 years his senior.

It never states her age, but going off the fact that she’s a Captain of a special ops unit, I put her at 26 as a minimum. Realistically she is 28-32, even further widening the age gap.

Deathstroke took over Ravager’s (Grant Wilson, his son) contract to kill the Titans with the Hive after Grant was accidentally killed fighting the Titans. Leading to Slade, becoming the New Teen Titans greatest and most dangerous villian. Source: The New Teen Titans #2, 1980 or possibly 1981, by Wolfman and Perez

Actually Zohso, Slade enlisted in the Korean War and met Adeline in the early 60s, Judging by the fact that Slade trained with her for a year and they got married and had a child after 6 months before Slade entered the Vietnam War which America entered March 8, 1965, they would have met during the range of 1962-1963. Conflict in the Korean War lasted from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953. So given Slade was 16 when he was enlisted that would give him a birth range of around 1934 to 1937. So Wade would have been around 25 - 30 years old when he met Adeline Kane.

P.S. I thought there was a big age difference for the longest time too.

Some really terrific facts in here! But remember to cite your sources, so nobody goes “Oh yeah? Sez WHO?”

Coincidentally, the first print issue of Deathstroke the Terminator #1 featured an ad for Terminator 2: Judgment Day trading cards.

Deathstroke makes an unlikely appearance in the Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman episode “Bob and Carol and Lois and Clark.” Under the alias of Bob Stanford, Deathstroke is presented as an assassin with magnetic powers, which he uses to give his targets a stroke.

The link isn’t working now?

It’s working again now. When do you think this will be updated? Thanks.

  1. Deadpool is actually Wade Wilson, Deathstroke’s brother who wanted to get out of Slade’s shadow traveling the multiverse to find a world with no DS analog. Realizing all Earth’s have their own version of Slade, he crossed realities and went to the MU, where they can’t have DS because of copyright. There he breaks the 4th wall because in the DCU Marvel is a comic company.
  2. Deathstroke is a military general who joined the Japanese Axis movement n WW1, where they gave him the mirakuru serum to smite the Americans.
  3. Rose and Jericho are half-siblings. Slade gets around.
  4. while in titans he is depicted as Asian, Slade is actually an Uber-Racist White, often being more brutal with targets of color.
