In a 2005 interview with Christian Bale & Christopher Nolan, Bale stated that he first became interested in portraying Batman after reading “Batman: Arkham Asylum” by Grant Morrison, stating he found Bruce to be an interesting character in his obsesiveness and in the great sense of guilt that drives him to rid the city of the evil that took his parent’s lives.

Batman is the second-smartest man on Earth according to Ozymandias in Doomsday Clock #2, second only to Lex Luthor. Various other sources have indicated that Mister Terrific takes the Bronze in this ranking, so to speak.

Batman has multiple contingency plans in case any of the justice league members decide to turn evil. He even stockpiles kryptonite in some areas of the batcave going so far to having a kryptonite batsuit in the injustice universe. In both the comic “JLA: Tower of Babel” and the animated film Justice League Doom supervillains find batman’s secret contigency plans and target members of the justice league with it. At the end of the Injustice 2 video game there’s an epic fight between batman and superman there you’ll see batman wearing his kryptonite batsuit.

Lego batman doesn’t pay his taxes. In “The Lego Batman Movie” while batman is fighting his rouges gallery while trying to defuse a bomb he starts singing one of the lyrics of the song is “who always pays his taxes? Not batman.”

Lego Batman in both “The Lego Movie” and “The Lego Batman Movie” is voiced by Will Arnet, the same guy who voices BoJack Horseman.

Ben McKenzie is the only actor to play both Batman and Commissioner Gordon. He voiced Bruce in the Batman: Year One animated movie, and played a young Jim Gordon in the FOX TV show Gotham.

In all of the variant covers he did for The Dark Knight III: The Master Race, Batman artist Greg Capullo hid an “FM” as a tribute to series creator and co-author Frank Miller.

In the DCAU continuity, Bruce got Barbara Gordon pregnant. They began a relationship after Dick Grayson quit being Robin and left for Blüdhaven, but he came back to Gotham after Joker’s abduction of Tim Drake and death. He and Barbara started seeing each other again, and Dick was even ready to propose, but Babs revealed to Bruce that she was seven weeks pregnant despite Dick being back for only three weeks. Bruce ultimately told Dick about the relationship and pregnancy before she got a chance, which caused Dick to lash out and leave Bruce for good. Barbara suffered a miscarriage when she stopped an alley mugging, despite having already quit being Batgirl.

Batman wore a heavily armored yellow Batman symbol on his chest to keep the Robins out of the line of fire as much as possible. This is revealed in Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller.
