Inspired by @AlexanderKnox’s efforts, this thread will now endeavor to become the definitive Triangle Era reading list.
Major storylines and assorted minutia will eventually be categorized/cataloged/ itemized, but for the time being the main focus is listing all books (including those not yet available in digital) on a year by year basis in their order of release as Knox is already in the process of doing.
I have all Triangle Era issues indexed at my site, the Unofficial Guide to the DC Universe. I don’t have the triangle issues as an actual list though, but you can follow every triangle issue to the next starting at Superman Vol. 2 51. You can even go back before the triangles started appearing and find all issues in chronological order.
The Superman (post-Crisis) chronology will have most of the Triangle issues in order (but won’t list the ones where Superman himself didn’t appear)
You’re welcome. Hoping it’ll be of some help. I could post the entire list here (and add the ones missing from Superman’s chronology) but doing so would just link to my indexes rather than the actual issues here on DC Universe as @AlexanderKnox’s list does and not sure how to easily fix that.
The master plan of @AlexanderKnox and I is to eventually have a Triangle Era reading list with links to the books available here (along with the print-only so far books listed for completion’s sake), so that members new to the Triangle Era will have a reading list available on the service that can then point them to the Triangle Era books available on the service.
The Powers That Be are aware of that error, as well as other changes needed for the Triangle Era collections. Word has it they’ll be fixed sometime in the near future.
I really hope some of those changes are adding the books that are missing. It appears to be mostly Action Comics that are missing. Granted, I have not taken an in-depth look but Triangle 3 is missing and I noticed fewer Action Comics than Adventures, Superman, and Man of Steel books.
Per @Applejack in the Office Hours thread, the developers have the list of missing books to add, as well as those to remove and a more accurate description for the volume 3 collection.
No ETA on the fixes was stated, but I’m confident they’ll occur in a timely manner.
