Apologies … again … for the delay in getting this month’s log up. Life has been chaos.
Keath’s goal for October is to have this stuff prepped prior to 30 Sep so I don’t continue to be a chump of a club leader…
You don’t have to join The Speed Force Club to participate, but if you want to get notified on each other’s workouts and join the conversation, come on in!
Nope, you guys didn’t forget how … I forgot to make the post a wiki. You should have access to edit it now and can add rows to the log as needed, but I’ve added your progress thus far.
Ran three days in a row for the first time in years, I think. That’ll be the first and last streak the app awards me, though - definitely need to put rest days back in my schedule… even though I’m currently running what used to be my rest day distances.
It was! By sleepy I meant I was tired afterwards but I think that’s the best emoji to describe it.
I think I’m going to stay at smaller rides for a bit, keep it at 30 minutes max for now. I would love to do more but I’ve been having some real life issues getting in the way so I’m just gonna a play it safe for a bit. But I’m just happy to be back at the gym.
Oh, that’s good! I was worried you were riding tired. I’ve done that while running, but the idea of staying upright on a bike while sleepy is terrifying.
Real life can be tricky that way. Hope it’s nothing too terrible. Safe and steady is definitely better than overreaching. I’m doing the same, trying to keep my enthusiasm for fall as incentive to rebuild a good habit, rather than extend the distances and overdo it.
Hahaha! Sounds like a delightful problem to have. Love the batshirt! Gotta bundle up for that mid 60s weather. We’ve been in the 30s pre-dawn, so I had to bust out my Nightwing tights and start layering my torso. Pretty soon I’ll need to find my hat.
Have a bit of a cold so I’ve taken off this week. My birthday is on the 4th and my running BFF and I are planning on hitting some trails we haven’t run on together in years, so better or not we are heading out! (I’ve found that a nice long run when you are little sick seems to burn the sick out of you).
