The is a great documentary called “Necessary Evil” which is about what makes a villain, why villains are often foils, and why villains are what make comics really interesting. I highly recommend it. Also, to make their pints about villains, they use DC villains as there characters for examples. It’s really awesome.
I don’t know of a location If/where you can stream it for free. But if not it’s certainly worth a rental.
