I’m sure if you’ve been in the discourse about Batman online in recent years, you’ve probably heard the refrain of “Batman’s too ‘grimdark’ and takes itself too seriously.” It’s a thing that never felt right to me, and I think this video really explains it well.
What do you guys think?
If I was grim dark I would die instantly. I am a guy who adopts orphans and saves the world with them.
After watching the video, I feel like watching Batman Forever. I want to see the Riddler!
The Batman animated series features a happier Batman.
