With the release of The Flash less than one month away, we’re all buzzing with excitement to witness the return of our favorite speedster, along with his “new” friends. But what’s even more exciting is that you can see the movie early, thanks to exclusive Fan-First screenings–no time travel needed! These screenings are first-come-first-serve, and are taking place in select cities across the country, so follow the link below to check if there’s a screening near you!
NICE!!
I can’t believe it’s almost officially Flash time … we’ve been anticipating this for so long!!
The Atom ticket site also has tickets for sale, for those like me who are not fans of Fandango. Also, you can probably get them directly from your theater. I’m going to go see a movie this weekend and might see if I can finally trade in this 4DX readmit ticket for a a 4DX showing of this in June already.
Here’s a poster version with the cities listed. It’s the usual suspects. Boston being listed should make @markhb somewhat happier?
Indeed it did! In fact, it’s the same theater where I saw the BvS preview screening!
Love to see it! I grew up in Roslindale, so I’m glad Boston is getting a screening!
I’m so excited for this movie!! Michael Keaton let’s gooo
@markhb I scored a pass to the screening in Los Angeles tonight and if it makes you feel better, apparently this is NOT the finished moving they are screening, it’s the same version they showed last month at the theater owners convention - so unfinished EFX, and apparently they are retaining a few surprises for what will be the finished movie.
OTOH, I did notice when I looked at the theater schedule for the AMC I will be going to for this, that the IMAX showings for F&F 10 after the lunchtime are cancelled, so there’s a huge empty block of time from say 4 pm to the last Fast 10 showing at 10:15 pm.
I presume this means, unless there’s another screening tonight (and I’ve seen that happen), that we might be in for an IMAX screening tonight of The Flash, which makes sense since this will be a movie theater critics screening.
AMC Tremont, across from the Common!
Love that theater!
I didn’t see the email for the Phoenix screening in time, so am on the wait list. Looking at the theater, it looks like same thing. No Fast X in the IMAX screen at 7 pm.
Welcome back. I would keep trying. However, if the Phoenix screening is tonight, you might be out of luck. I don’t remember ever seeing screening tickets released so close to the show time, unless they are seriously under-subscribed or are hearing from press/bloggers/stations/sites that they are not attending in person, or not attending this screening.
Pre-lockdown, you would often see a number of these screenings, but I’m not sure they are doing that many nowadays.
WB Tickets sent the email out at 12:50, I saw it about an hour later and they were all claimed right away.
Well that definitely makes me feel better about not getting to the screening near me tonight. Not that I wouldn’t have seen it again when it fully released, but sitting through an incomplete product would just leave me feeling…well, incomplete
Nothing for North Carolina, huh…
I got my ticket and can’t wait to be there! Thanks for posting this to give us a heads up!
so the movie is some how a reset to kick off James Gunns DCU, is that right, and it is a time travel story but not flash point, and the bad guy dresses like Reverse Flash but isn’t Reverse Flash.?
sigh.
well, least the handful of you people here in this thread are excited about it.
Cereal Lord desperately wanted them to adapt his story and WB probably did toss a few dollars his way either way, but no one really wanted that adapted again, not after the very lose in-name-only thing the DCW did. At least this will take more elements from Johns story if that’s really what you seek, than that one did, and you can always just cue up the animated version if that’s what you want. As for time travel, this appears to be more a vibration story, similar to Flash of Two Worlds, where he’s traveling to a parallel Earth, only his path through the Speed Force apparently also changed it into an AU reality. So it’s a bit more Mirrorverse, aka Star Trek, than anything else. At least that what seems to be going on based on what we know. And again, not at all what you seem to be seeking.
Meanwhile…
Me too! Finally!!!
I got confirmation at Thursday’s (June 8) screening from someone that did get into the screening I missed a couple of weeks ago that it definitely was the incomplete version and not the finished version. It did not have the final scene of the movie (or the very end of it) nor did they have the post-credits scene.
Yep, no Clooney and no Arthur Curry. I want to say some of the music was also different but that may be that the IMAX Fan First screening was so loud because we were in a different theater with THX Dolby as well and also on the 4th row.
