The Doom Patrol Needs?

I just finished watching my marathon movies for the week of, The Toxic Avenger movies.

An hence this thread. The Doom Patrol in my view, absolutely has to recruit The Toxic Avenger.

Now I know Toxic had his own comic at some point in time, but I think DC can swing a few bucks to bring Toxic Avenger into the fold. At least for Doom Patrol.

Anyhow. That is all. on that.

So who else does The Doom Patrol need?

Toxic Avenger is a good choice.

-The August General in Iron. An Chinese hero whose unique rustic skin from extraterrestrial and advanced government experimentation gives August superhuman strength and durability. He could be good muscle for the team and has tactical experience as a soldier and a government superhero to lead teams like the Doom Patrol in battles.

-Core. Pavlo Stupka is a newly introduced hero in the backup stories of Brave and the Bold (2023). He’s a really sympathetic and tragic figure whose powers of flight and Radiation could make him a powerful (potentially dangerous) member on the team.

-Eddie Deacon maybe? He’s not really a superhero but he’s a good guy who owned the oblivion bar and had a deformity where instead of hands or feet, he got seal flippers. Besides his telekinesis, he could be their bartender whose knowledge about the magic world could be useful.

I’m going to have a potentially controversial choice, so hear me out before you tear me apart - Cheetah

I know, she is traditionally a villain. But her origin does have a tragic element to it and recent WW issues even had her team uo with Diana and company. There is a chance for her to be something more like an anti-hero. The potential is there.
