The Batman: Part II - Ideas, Updates, Theories, etc

Everybody wants to cast Timothee for everything

He’s a good actor, but damn man, find someone new lol

True
But I just think for Robin specifically
He fits

He perfectly matches the archetype. Who is the dream actor everyone envisions for Robin?

I think he has potential to be a good Dick Grayson.

Agreed. Everyone can see that Chalamet is way too old to play a fifteen year old convicingly onscreen. Plus Chalamet’s agent is more than likely looking for lead roles for him to be cast in when it comes to tentpoles- doubt they would reccommend supporting roles unless they were opposite marquee names like Leo, Dwayne J., RDJ, Cruise and so on. Not that our guy Battison isn’t a big name but the Reevesverse series is still kind of indy niche in it’s approach to story delivery (which is one of the reasons why I love it sooo much :purple_heart: it’s not a corporatized tentpole).

TBH I really like Jaeden Martell in the role of Reevesverse DG-

Idk, I don’t see it honestly

I wouldn’t expect Reeves Batman to have an actual child fighting with him, I’d expect Robin to be around 17-19 in this universe.

Of course I’m not Matt Reeves so who knows what he’s gonna do.

I wouldn’t mind a 14-17 year old Robin.

As long as we get Red Hood in the fourth or fifth movie, I don’t care who plays Dick (Provided they are a good fit).

Oh god, the innuendos! They were unintentional!

It’s going to be a trilogy

Well damn it.

lol

There’ll be shows though. So maybe that makes up for it

Well then, maybe we’ll get a Red Hood show.

I personally think 1) it should be set in the future and 2) Jon Bernthal should play Red Hood. With Punisher he proved he can be a terrifying anti-hero and with The Walking Dead, he proved he can make jokes under pressure.

Best of both worlds!

Also, not relevant just because I am a Punisher super-fan:

I’m sure we’re going to see Arkham in Part II, but for now here’s our look at the front gates in this universe

I love it, it’s as I expected to look like
Riddler: Year One #6 was the best issue yet!

So the strike supposedly is over, hopefully the movie will start protraction on time now!

The tentative agreement is a big step toward ending it, but it’s still gotta be fully approved. Plus the actors’ strike is still ongoing, so we’re not out of the woods yet

It’s a nice first step though
