Personally, I’m hyped for this movie. I get how it would be easy to dismiss this as “yet another grim & gritty take on Batman”, but I feel like there’s a lot more to it than that. Just based on what we’ve seen in trailers and other previews, it seems like they’re going all-out with exploring the other prominent characters in Batman’s mythos without necessarily doing things like having all the villains team up at the end or whatever else.
Just like with the West Batman movie of the 1960’s, the Keaton Batman movies of the 1980’s-1990’s, and the Bale Batman movies of the 2000’s-2010’s, I think this Batman movie will give us the definitive take on the character for the 2020’s, and that’s something to be hyped about. If I’m wrong then so be it, but that’s what I’m feeling.
I’ve got my premiere ticket so I am freaking excited
i am really hyped personally cause batman has been a childhood fav and i just always loved batman
One thing i hope is that the actors enjoy there roll as there designated characters and i beg them not to quit
I really like what I have seen in the trailers. I think it will give us a slightly different take on Batman from earlier works. And I think there is no denying that Batman and Catwoman have chemistry.
Quietly smushing these topics together to keep all our hype ducks in a hype row.
Also, I’m pretty excited to see Pattinson in this role!
Guys the villian in
will be firefly played by (Brendan Fraser) Robot Man!!!
And robin and batman will appear in batgirl
Sneak preview of The Batman.
Awesome, firefly is one of my favorite Batman villains!
Initially, I wasn’t too interested in The Batman (Oh, a gritty and realistic Batman, you say? Nolan perfected that from 2005-2012), but then the Bat and the Cat trailer came out, and yeah…definitely looking forward to this.
The Batman is my least-anticipated DC movie for the year (with Black Adam being my #1 most-anticipated), but I’m still going into it with reasonable expectations that it will be good, just so long as it doesn’t try too hard to throttle The Dark Knight Trilogy in terms of “grounded realism”, because again, Nolan already perfected that take on Batman.
Also, would it kill WB and aspiring Batman filmmakers to use villains not already in other live-action Batman movies?
The guy’s got a huge rogues gallery, many of whom haven’t been seen in any live-action production and if used well, would make bank at the box office (looking at you, Clayface and Man-Bat).
I am so hyped for my movie.
I was going to do that too, but then I opted for rereading Year One and Ego instead
I’m looking forward to seeing it. I’ve got my ticket for Thursday night.
This fan made trailer is just. Perfection.
