This week we’ll be reading issue seventeen, written by Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Geoff Johns, and Mark Waid, with art breakdowns by Keith Giffen and finishes by Chris Batista. This also features a back-up origin story for Lobo written by Waid and fully drawn by Keith Giffen.

Another fun read, basically two storylines this time. Looks hopeful for our space farers!

The encounter with Lobo went better than I expected, at least for our heroes.

The New Lex Luthor super team part just sort of treaded water and kept the storyline alive, didn’t really go anywhere this time.

Yeah, I hear you on the Luthor team thing – but I also think it’s more of an introduction to them more than anything.
