I am interested in reading the saga of the swamp thing but do I read all of it or just the Alan Moore stuff
Moore’s stories assume some familiarity with both Swamp Thing and The Saga of the Swamp Thing, but they’re still somewhat comprehensible without that background.

The shock of The Anatomy Leason in Saga of Swamp.Thing 21 is considerably less if you did not read at least some of the early issues of the original Swamp Thing by Wein and Wrightson.
In those issues you feel for Alec Holland.
In issue 20 of Saga Moore ties up the previous plot points of the run.
I have never read any issues of Saga lrior to issue 21 and I don’t feel I missed anything.
