Zod!!!
I remember being so excited to read Richard Donner and Geoff John’s run on Action Comics. I really enjoyed that run. Adam Kubert’s delays with the art hurt it badly.
What about Apocalypse Now? That is a great movie.
I haven’t seen that one, I’ll have to watch it.
It’s great to see it restored and looking amazing!
What Zod says to Jor-El still gives me shivers. And if you have seen Superman part 2, he kept his promises.
Great special effect of the Phantom Zone!
Have you seen the Donner Cut of Superman II?
This councilman arguing with Jor-El is Trevor Howard from some of my favorite movies, The Third Man and Brief Encounter.
I like him in Father Goose with Cary Grant.
I have. It’s superb. Particularly restoring Jor-El’s scenes back.
Superman is a cute little baby!
I love it as well. I liked that it had a serious tone. I didn’t like some of the campiness in parts in the original.
This is another reason that made this movie serious. Jor-El is a scientist and knew about earth and what it’s atmosphere would do to his son. Before this Superman’s abilities were more of a plot device.
I like how the way Jor-el and Lara’s outfit lights up. Pretty cool.
Goodbye Krypton.
The costumes and production for Kypton are great. Setting the tone that this is an advanced world that we couldn’t possibly explain.
The 70s seem to like a disaster film style like this, Poseidon and Earthquake!
They certainly did!
I really enjoyed Ma and Pa Kent!
