Curious I ran across a Blu Ray of a 3 hour extended cut of the orignal Superman film. Evidently it was the tv version. Does anyone here recommend this cut? I know Donner wasn’t a fan.

If you’re a huge, huge fan of that movie, it might be worth your time as a curiosity. Just understand that the TV version has no regard for proper pacing. Its entire purpose is to add enough deleted scenes for ABC to show the film over two nights.

I think I read somewhere that the TV footage isn’t in high definition, so expect some dips in quality throughout if that’s true.
