SUPERMAN’S PAL, JIMMY OLSEN wins the Ringo Award for Best Humor Comic!

First, Mariko Tamaki gets a Best Writer Eisner for HARLEY QUINN: BREAKING GLASS. Then, SUPERMAN SMASHES THE KLAN got a Harvey Award for Best Comic for Children or Young Adults. Now, DC’s claimed the western comic awards trifecta in 2020 with a Ringo Award for Best Humor Comic going to SUPERMAN’S PAL, JIMMY OLSEN! A well-deserved honor — Fraction and Lieber’s OLSEN was probably my favorite Superman comic of the Rebirth line. The way it marries Silver Age bizarreness to Modern Age sensibilities works on a level rarely achieved in similar efforts. The first four issues are available to read now on DCU.

Congrats to the creative team and DC! Was a fun romp for sure. I liked how the comic wasn’t afraid to poke fun at itself. Also feel it warrants a re-read with all the time jumping involved :slightly_smiling_face:
