Also, in theory socialism is perfect. It is to be one of the best forms of gov’t. But in practice, it hasn’t ever panned out, not once.
It mainly critiques the helicopter parenting aspect that would come during the early stages of transition. But once Supes figures his crap out, he realizes that the people can fend for themselves there on out and overtime we end up leading ourselves to actual Utopia.
It mostly hasn’t panned out due to decades of capitalist interference and propaganda. Cuba’s actually doing great, despite all odds.

I agree, but there’s no way we can avoid these conversations once the movie comes out. If anything it’d feel a little irresponsible not to have some discourse over the topic. I mean, I’m always willing to play civil when discussing politics, I think we can trust our other users to do the same. Hopefully lol.
