6 superboy was able to deflect a blast that brutally killed a different alien

7 he seems to use his ttk as either an energy blast or something similar to the soaring fist technique from dragon ball super with ttk

8 won a beam clash with travv which due to what it does to travv we could assume superboy would have been damaged worse (than the enhanced clone body of himself) if he lost the clash

not only that but throughout the last issue im pretty sure hes tired and recovering from red sun radiation

Only way to make a air pocket is to “grab” air with his TTK,and that would only happen if he grabbed it out of the atmosphere before superman could get him in space…which is very possible.

New 52 kon was the son of Superman born under a yellow.sun,which changed his powers and how they are powered.

I hope the “merging” between Rea l Conner and new 52 kon hopefully removed all that Jon lane kent total trash and kept it just Conner being put thru all of it

Everyone is making a big deal about the chained having ultra powerful TTK,and yeah it’s more powerful than kons,but hello kon has the kryptonian powerset in top of his weaker TTK,since when is having a kryptonian powerset make you weaker than anyone ever

everyone there seems to be at a disadvantage to the chained
but kon might have the most advantage over everyone else due to him also having ttk
with how many uses kon has discovered (that likely wont be used) he is very effective when he actually uses his ttk
he may know things that chained doesnt do to chained being
chained for years it seems

I think you meant clone of Jon here. But it’s been stated that’s it’s a result of that version of Lois having a meta gene. Which is further supported by the fact he could still use it on Krypton. Which wasn’t even the first time he’s been to Krypton. He went there once back before the Lex reboot happened. And he was still able to use his TTK there.

New 52 kons powers were inner powered thsts why his powers wasn’t fazed by going to Krypton,you can hear him say it when he was fighting the eradicator there.

Are you talking about when it was new Krypton and he was with Zod,and he blasted Zod ,then of course DC needed to show Zod being ultra capable and Conner being a kid and had Zod kick his ass?

I know his TTK doesn’t go away “atleast” as fast as a kryptonians powerset goes away without solar energy or under a red sun.during final night his powers stayed around the whole time,but when he lost them after sins of youth the only way he got them back was to be powered back up by that fire alien girl who posseesed(or something) Roxy.

Wouldnt mind 2 completely seperate powersets wutb 2 completely different power sources at all.i mean Conner is on the road to be galactic level of a powerhouse,so it wouldn’t change anything

hes already at least planetary easily especially with new evidence of the enemy using a cloned body from kon-els dna being confident he can destroy the planet and conner stopping the blast

So supermans aura is getting the boot as where kons came from,now it’s just from Sammy.

They really downplay supermans dna here,like he doesn’t have his powers,or mostly still.get his from Sammy.

TTK was mostly energy attacks and gases,but fire and ice work too,and kryptonite has worked on him from his 1st series,so atleast with all these changes (to add Sammy into the TTKs origin) they are atleast trying to keep it all together.

Weird they say SB only has a fraction of his power,but in the next sentence says if he let loose with all his rage he could do the same stuff.so does that mean he can’t ever get to Sammy’s level or he is just holding back and he could in the future?

ttk is still based off the kryptonian equivalent
also conner is always held back and already has been shown to do cooler things than what the chained has
they are just hyping chained up

(due to kon clearly being angry at travv during man of tomorrow it makes sense how he had such a big feat of stopping a planet busting blast)

seriously tho kon-el is incredibly powerful what they are saying about chained is only to hype him up

although adding an anger type of thing to conner seems like yet another thing from the young justice show being added to him
(although it seems to be for his ttk this time instead of his base kryptonian abilities)

honestly the fact that theres now 2 things from the show yj being added to comic book kon-el might mean they plan to either bring back the yj show and have synergy or some planned adaptation in the future is adding this stuff so it seems natural when they adapt superboy

or they just like concepts from the show and are adding them to the comics just cuz
