Stargirl flying in to save him in episode 2. She does care.
When she said she was his daughter to snap Pat out of Brainwave’s control. It could’ve been so easy for her to shrug it off afterwards and be awkward about it, but it wasn’t played that way. Courtney said it and meant it; it had so much emotional weight.
