Apparently a zatanna movie is being developed by DC which does sounds pretty cool because I do love her lol

I never expected a movie for her except maybe having a small role in a JL film. But that’s cool if true

It’s the role Zooey Deschanel was born to play (wishful thinking casting).

Deadline briefly mentioned that there had been cursory talks of a Zatanna movie (found here: ‘Spider-Women’, ‘Birds Of Prey’, ‘Black Widow’ Lead Female Hero Wave – Deadline) and other outlets are picking up on that sentence to claim that it’s in development. Nothing official has been announced at this time. But we can dream!

It’s great to see so many female characters getting a turn in the spotlight. I hope we get many more as time progresses.

Much as I want this to be true, Zatanna being my favorite female character, it’s just going to languish like Batgirl, The New Gods, Justice League Dark and so on and so forth.

I literally just finished a post saying that Zatanna goes back as far as “almost” any original character & with the exception of Smallville has yet to be seen in live action. I so hope this is true, one of my all time favorites hands down.

Because Zatanna is my girl. She’s right up there with Catwoman and Wonder Woman.
