Like a lot of the cast so far, it’s not who I would have first thought of for the role of Alfred, but it definitely makes sense, especially since Serkis was the star of Matt Reeves’ previous Planet of the Apes films. I don’t know how big a role he will have (especially since he’s also going to be directing Venom 2 next year), but I’m sure whatever he does will be cool.

Andy Serkis is a fantastic actor, but I feel like Sam Neill (from Jurassic Park) would have been a better choice for Alfred.

Man-bat would be tight.
He’s definitely a great actor, and given the age of the Bruce Wayne that will be portrayed in the movie, he’s definitely the right age to play Alfred.
