When I think of Batman with no pictures in front of me, it’s always Aparo’s art that comes to mind.

I completely agree! When my brother bought all these pages for me for my birthday, he was talking to his wife, and she told him that Jim Aparo thought he was not a big deal. He thought people did not think he was a great artist. That was so sad to me.

That makes me incredibly sad as well. He was a legend! His Brave and the Bold were some of my absolute favorite comics.

Haven’t posted in the thread lately because I actually forgot all about it. Here is another piece. It is some Dick Ayers art from DC Special Series #16. It was a backup story in the book.
