Silly me, I should have said…art by Doug Mahnke and Tom Nguyen, from JLA 61.
When I think of Batman with no pictures in front of me, it’s always Aparo’s art that comes to mind.
I completely agree! When my brother bought all these pages for me for my birthday, he was talking to his wife, and she told him that Jim Aparo thought he was not a big deal. He thought people did not think he was a great artist. That was so sad to me.
That makes me incredibly sad as well. He was a legend! His Brave and the Bold were some of my absolute favorite comics.
He has always said that was his best work. He basically drew, inked, and lettered everything!
Jim Lee! Ok you win, nice.
I love that piece! Gene Ha, correct?
Awesome art there
You are correct, it is Gene Ha. He did the cover for action 9
Thank you it is one of my favorites
Haven’t posted in the thread lately because I actually forgot all about it. Here is another piece. It is some Dick Ayers art from DC Special Series #16. It was a backup story in the book.
Very cool
Because it’s been a little while since I posted in here, this is a piece from Pat Gleason’s run on Aquaman, the Sub Diego storyline.
So cool
Amazing page!
Thanks
