One of DC’s most underrated of supervillains, Magpie is a cleptomaniac who’s only animated appearance has been Beware the Batman. And if DC’s just going to sweep her under the rug, then maybe she should at least get a graphic novel or something.

Magpie always just kind of struck me as a substitute for Catwoman as Selina became more of an antihero.

I don’t think Magpie has enough meat on her literary bones to be the anchor of a movie. Anything’s possible though.
An appearance in an animated movie or in more TV shows would suit her better IMO.

I liked what they did with her on Gotham and she’s appeared in other media before. Never say never, I guess. If we’ve learned anything from the past twenty or so years, all you need is a writer with a good story to tell and the character will pop.
