I’ve enjoyed reading the various marvel prose novels and imo some are better than their comic book counterparts. I think DC should take this approach as well and see how the fans react.

They already have. They did novelizations of the Death of Superman and Knightfall. Plus a novelization of Batman: No Man’s Land and I believe Crisis on Infinite Earths and Infinite Crisis were adapted to prose but I’m not 100% sure on those two. I am 100% certain on the other three though as I used to own them.

Crisis definitely was. It was written by Marv Wolfman himself.
