Would read the heck out of a Zatanna/Sabrina book. Especially if they got Paul Dini to write it.

Well, I think it is a given she would become a superhero. And I could see her hanging out with Zatanna. She would know Constantine, but I don’t think they’d be pals.

If they went with the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Archie Horror take, I could totally see her teaming up with the Hellblazer.

I would not mind as long as they try to be as creative and fun as the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

I am shocked that I am just learning that Sabrina started out as a comic. I used to watch the television show all the time. I feel mind blown right now.

You mean the Melissa Joan Hart show? I’ve had that mindblowing revelation some time ago, you must be having an insane head trip right now

Yes. That was one of my favorite shows. My head is hurting right now. I am thinking back to all my trips to the comic store trying to remember if I ever noticed a Sabrina comic. I cannot recall any. Definitely an insane head trip. Well thank you for informing me of this. I need to read some of these comics now! I missed out for sure.

I was just reading these two the other day. The Comixology Unlimited app has a lot of Archie books:

I have a lot of reading to do. I still am mind blown that I just found out about these comics. Did you like these?

Yes, Sabrina started out in Archie Comics in the Sixties. And then there was a Saturday morning cartoon in the Seventies!

I liked both of them, especially since they’ve given her a nemesis in Amber Nightstone. But the other stories were all reprints and its cool to see different eras of the character.

I really liked the Kelly Thompson issues too though.

I still prefer the darker stuff. It’s more realistic. Plus, dealing with monsters and demons isn’t going to be a sunny walk in the park and I hate it whenever it’s treated like it is.

Your mileage may vary. I love that we get multiple flavors at Archie right now.

The House Style books are fun, and the Archie Horror “Chilling Adventures” stuff has been nothing short of phenomenal.

And I will say that I started picking up the Archie digests during Covid and they have remained a source of comfort for me ever since.

How to get Sabrina into the DCU?

She and her aunts move, and Sabrina is enrolled into South Metropolis High School. During one of her classes, she uses magic to do something small, but it’s spotted by two other students at school, the Wonder Twins.

They introduce themselves, and mention their familiarity with magic due to their being at the Hall of Justice with Zatanna and Constantine, and they take her there.

Impressed with her abilities, Sabrina is invited to join a re-formed Young Justice, with the teen heroes who were in the last formation, Superboy, Robin, Wonder Girl, Impulse, Naomi, Jinny Hex, Teen Lantern & the Wonder Twins.
