Stellar choice! Personally, I love me some Michael Caine… but I’m not picky. I love seeing different people portraying a character. Sometimes, it makes you have an entirely different perspective on the character after seeing it from an alternate viewpoint.

I mean, as long as it’s known that he’s throwing the party, I think it counts towards building his cover/alibi. Everyone will just assume he’s there, and not dare contradict anyone who said they saw him, at the risk of seeming uncool for not having shmoozed with him. Wayne parties are like The Emperor’s New Clothes of Gotham.
(And while we’re celebrating great Alfreds, I’m a huge fan of Ian Abercrombie in Birds of Prey. For animated, Efrem Zimbalist in a few episodes of the Justice League series is absolute gold.)
